Synopsis
The Shining Star is an Malaysian singing competition television series created by Michael b. Jordyn, produced by Caprive USA and YG Entertainment, and distributed by North Newscastle. It initially aired on TV7 from July 1, 2001, to August 19, 2013, for 11 seasons. Since March 11, 2018, a revival of the series has aired on NTV7.
